Our Corporate, Finance + Tax Group creates structures to provide employees with the most tax-efficient plans.

Restrictive Covenants

We help clients review, negotiate and analyze non-compete clauses and other restrictive covenants based on both enforceability and industry practice.

Termination Agreements and Releases

Using our vast knowledge and experience, we have negotiated hundreds of lucrative severance packages. We counsel individual executives through the employment termination process — outlining negotiation strategies, assessing and negotiating exit-package offers, identifying what benefits may be available, and achieving client goals.

 

Contentious Terminations

We counsel employers on reorganizations and layoffs and help clients resolve contentious terminations of employment relationships. We negotiate comprehensive settlement agreements and releases.

We structure retirement packages for top executives and negotiate agreements that are mutually beneficial.

Dispute Resolution

We work with our Employment Compliance + Training Group to resolve and settle employment disputes in their infancy, avoiding protracted and expensive litigation. We handle mediation and arbitration and advise on litigation prospects and strategy, and we bring and defend cases to trial in state and federal court. We regularly appear before administrative agencies.
