Deborah Wolfe

Ms. Wolfe has over thirty year’s experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity, strategic investment and restructuring transactions in the media, music, entertainment, advertising, and hospitality industries. Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit in 2010, Ms. Wolfe represented mature companies in connection with complex high value transactions, often with cross-border aspects. At Frankfurt Kurnit, her practice focuses on advising start-up, emerging and growth-stage companies from formation to exit. In addition to representing individual founders, entrepreneurs and investors, her clients include independent and major record labels, creative and media agencies, production companies and private equity-backed companies. She frequently represents foreign companies expanding into the U.S. market, both organically and through acquisitions. Working closely with our Entertainment Group, Deborah has extensive expertise in the unique aspects of celebrity-backed businesses. She is a founding member of our Hospitality Group and has represented numerous renowned chefs, restaurateurs and prominent food industry figures in the formation, financing and operation of restaurant groups and CPG ventures. With decades-long transactional experience, she is a valuable strategic advisor who offers practical guidance and creative solutions to her clients.

Ms. Wolfe is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1986), and Cornell University (B.A., cum laude, with distinction, 1982). For over a decade, she has served on the Board of Directors of Services for the Underserved, a large non-profit providing affordable housing and supportive services to New Yorkers affected by poverty, homelessness, addiction and developmental disabilities. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New York.
