Jonah Brill
Jonah Brill is an associate in the Tax Group, and a member of the Corporate & Finance, Estate Planning, and Charitable Organizations Groups.
Mr. Brill focuses his practice on providing clients with sophisticated tax planning advice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, sales, exchanges and spin-offs, restructurings, and business formation issues.
He also regularly represents businesses and individuals in federal, state and local tax controversies; counsels businesses on executive compensation matters; and advises charitable organizations on tax and other legal issues relating to their formation and operation.

- Corporate and tax representation of a leading digital advertising agency in the sale of the company.
- Corporate and tax representation in a U.K. private equity fund’s purchase of a U.S. ad agency.
- Corporate and tax representation of Fulwell 73, in its merger with The SpringHill Company.
- Corporate and tax representation of an independent game studio in the sale of the company.
Mr. Brill is a member of the New York City Bar Association Tax Section and serves on the Committee on the Taxation of Business Entities.
He received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in Tax Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Mr. Brill was a tax associate at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP. He is admitted to practice in New York.
